Nyakizu washing station lies deep in the south of Rwanda, close to the border with Burundi, right next to the Nyungwe natural forest. High altitude and rich soils in a favourable climate with plenty of rainfall in marked seasons. A gentle humid breeze blows through the valley, which makes for great drying conditions. This coffee represents the bulk of the specialty coffee production out of this particular washing station. Expect complex berry notes, buttery texture and a milk chocolate finish.
Coffee orders submitted by Wednesday 5pm of each week are consolidated and freshly roasted in the same week. They are packed and shipped out within 48 hours, by Friday each week. Freshness you can taste!
